511 GDOT MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A multi-vehicle wreck on I-24 Eastbound causes a shut down that could last several hours. The crash was reported at 3:48 AM CT at mile marker 166.1, expanding from Marion County to Dade County, Georgia. According to the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, there is a fatal accident involving a tractor trailer and several passenger cars at the 1 mile marker. I-24 Eastbound is shut down. Use an alternate route and avoid the area.
