Pakistan is using deportation for political blackmail, turning women, children and residents into bargaining chips to pressure Afghanistan to act against the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), said sources close to Taliban’s acting minister of interior affairs Sirajuddin Haqqani amid the crisis between the two countries.

“Pakistan is doing mass deportations and border blackmail to cross-border strikes. It is waging an economic and humanitarian war on Afghanistan," said sources, adding, “Every action of Pakistan is to humiliate Afghan people and Taliban. Pakistan is creating manmade crisis to insult Afghans."
