These are just some of the novel business pitches received by the city after it put out a call for “creative, on-water attraction” ideas for Hamilton’s waterfront earlier this year.

The proposals — collected after a “request for information” call out to the tourism industry earlier this year — are summarized in a report going to councillors on the city’s west harbour subcommittee Friday.

The report offers a glimpse into the city’s thinking as it seeks to add more recreational spaces along the harbour — but councillors are not expected to immediately vote on or adopt any of the blue-sky ideas for the waterfront.
