Thirteen polymer projects will collectively receive millions of dollars of newly announced funding from the Ohio Department of Development Innovation Hub program as part of the Greater Akron Polymer Innovation Hub.

Over the next four years, the 13 research and development projects will receive a combined $6 million in funding from the state and $2 million from a local match, according to a Dec. 9 news release from the Greater Akron Chamber , which houses the Polymer Industry Cluster (PIC).
