It is no exaggeration that we live our lives through Instagram recommendations these days. We see one chocolate going viral and run behind it, chasing it all the way to Dubai. We see a monster-like doll grinning ear to ear and set our eyes on it, even if it means shelling out lakhs. By now, you know some choices are not our own and are driven by the numerous Reels we keep watching, and when my Instagram algorithm suggested a plethora of videos featuring a viral Chinese snack, Latiao , of course, I had to try.
