Twin brothers from Atlantic County are accused of threatening to hang a spokesperson for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the agency's officials have announced.

Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores, who are U.S. citizens living in Absecon, also vowed on social media to shoot U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents "on sight,” according to a Homeland Security statement.

Both brothers are charged with conspiracy terroristic threats.

Emilio Roman-Flores also is charged with unlawful possession of an assault weapon, possession of prohibited weapons, criminal coercion, threats and cyber harassment.

The death threat was allegedly made against Tricia McLaughlin, assistant secretary at Homeland Security.
