CINCINNATI, Ohio — Bengals receiver Tee Higgins is back in the concussion protocol, putting his status for this Sunday’s home game against the Ravens in doubt. He had been in the protocol after his head hit the turf in a Week 12 loss to the Patriots but returned two weeks later for Sunday’s game against the Bills in Buffalo.

During the game against the Bills, Higgins twice hit the back of his head on the turf of Highmark Stadium.

The first came in the second quarter when he tried to reach for a pass along the sideline.

In the fourth quarter, Bills cornerback Maxwell Hairston brought Higgins down to the ground after a reception, and his head again hit the ground at the end of the play.
