Homemade gifts are set to steal the spotlight this Christmas , a new survey has found. Whether its baked goods or personalised t-shirts the study of 2,000 adults revealed that 27% plan to craft presents from scratch this year, producing an average of four different types of gifts each.
On average, crafty gift-givers will dedicate just under seven hours to their homemade presents. Many are sharpening their DIY skills to create bespoke framed prints (18%), homemade hot chocolate kits (16%), and personalised Christmas cards (34%). Others are turning to jewellery-making, personalised candles (14%) and embroidered tote bags
