Colts legend jokingly makes career announcement with Philip Rivers coming out of retirement
The Indianapolis Colts are welcoming Philip Rivers back, but a franchise legend won't be following in his footsteps.
With the news that Rivers is joining the Colts at 44 years old and after five years in retirement, the team's former center, Jeff Saturday, jokingly made the announcement that he won't be joining the signal-caller.
"Jeff Saturday revealed this morning on [Get Up on ESPN] that he will not be coming out of retirement to play again for the Colts," Schefter said . "At age 50, Saturday knows his place."
Yeah, that's probably the right call for the 50-year-old, who hasn't stepped foot on a football field in 13 years.
The good news is, unlike at quarterback
