SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Presents, parties, and paying, there’s a lot going on this time of year, and if we’re not careful, the stress can put a damper on Christmas cheer.
“I think people across the board are more stressed out this year because we’re out of our routines,” said Dr. Christi Nothnagel, a clinical psychologist with CoxHealth.
Dr. Nothnagel said during the hustle and bustle of the holidays, many people veer from their normal nutrition and exercise plans.
“It’s really important to focus on those things that we know help us run through everyday life,” said Nothnagel.
Dr. Nothnael also said getting plenty of rest is a must this time of year.
