Does the UK ‘wish to become a vassal state at the beck and call of the American president’, reader questions

The recently published US National Security Strategy should have leaders in all our parties asking whether we, as a sovereign nation, wish to become a vassal state at the beck and call of the American president.

It is truly Orwellian in its structure, effectively announcing that it is so powerful that it has the right to determine the political complexion of all of its former allies and implying that they should totally align with the objectives of the Maga movement. It is fascism and should be called out for that.

It is time that the remains of Nato reconstituted and consider
