COLUMBUS, Ohio (WXIX) - A customer found a dead frog in a Kroger salad kit she bought at one of the grocery chain’s Ohio stores, according to a media report.

The woman purchased the Kroger-brand BLT salad kit with chicken and bacon at a store in Powell in Delaware County, just north of Columbus, WCMH reports .

After finding the amphibian in her unopened salad kit once she got into her car, the shopper returned to the store and received a $100 gift card from management as an apology, according to the report.

They also told her they would alert Kroger’s corporate officials.
