Crews are out plowing Winnipeg streets as an overnight snowfall blanketed the city and continues to fall.
The work will follow the street priority system before moving on to sidewalks and other pathways, says a news release from the city.
The s now is expected to stop falling around noon, Environment Canada forecast.
About four to six millimetres has fallen so far.
The city is also sending a reminder that the annual winter route parking ban is in effect, prohibiting parking between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. on streets designated as winter routes.
Vehicles in violation may be ticketed and towed.
