Luke Humphries must deliver a strong World Darts Championship performance this year

Luke Humphries is under pressure to deliver a strong performance at the World Darts Championship or he could see £500,000 wiped off his rankings. This is due to it being two years since his major victory at Ally Pally so this prize money would be deducted from the Order of Merit.

The English darts star has enjoyed a successful year, having won his first Premier League title and secured the PDC Triple Crown, which includes the World Championship and the World Matchplay . However, he recently lost his world number one ranking to rival Luke Littler who beat him at the Grand Slam.
