STORM ALERT WEATHER 3 FORECAST:

Winds are slowly waning this afternoon, resulting in improving conditions. Countless roads (both main and secondary) will remain partially/completely snow-covered through much of the afternoon as well, so make sure you are adding extra time to your drive. Scattered snow showers will be possible due to increased instability above our heads. Temperatures will decrease through the rest of Wednesday, eventually dropping to the mid teens by sundown. We will start out Thursday morning in the single digits with calm conditions.

Our next clipper system will roll in Thursday afternoon and evening, bringing yet another round of snow. A narrow band of snow will set up somewhere over SE Minnesota and North Iowa, resulting in 2-4" of snow poss
