LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The University of Louisville and University of Georgia football's home-and-home series will no longer be happening.
The Cardinals were set to host the Bulldogs in 2026, with Louisville making the trip to Athens in 2027.
But those games won't be happening.
UofL Athletics Director Josh Heird announced Wednesday that series between the schools was canceled due to scheduling adjustments.
"Recent changes to our home-and-home series with Georgia are another example of the scheduling adjustments that come with today’s evolving college football landscape," Heird said in a statement.
But the two teams will meet in the future, according to Heird.
