Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and two of her cabinet ministers are among the latest MLAs facing recall petitions.
Elections Alberta listed three more approved recall petitions on Wednesday, bringing the total count of government MLAs facing recall petitions to 20 United Conservative Party (UCP) MLAs and one NDP MLA. Environment and Protected Areas Minister Rebecca Schulz and Technology and Innovation Minister Nate Glubish were also added to the list on Wednesday morning.
In Smith’s response to her recall petition she said she has held routine town halls in her riding of Brooks-Medicine-Hat and has put that feedback towards informing decisions the province makes.
