HAMILTON COUNTY, Ohio —
Rodney Hinton Jr., accused of intentionally hitting and killing Hamilton County Deputy Larry Henderson, is seeking to change his plea from not guilty to not guilty by reason of insanity, with a court hearing held to assess his mental state at the time of the incident.

Investigators say Hinton ran Henderson down in a car while Henderson was directing traffic outside the University of Cincinnati's graduation in May.
Investigators say it came just hours after Hinton watched body camera video of Cincinnati officers shooting and killing his son, Ryan, as part of a stolen car investigation.
