CLEARING the air on the ensuing Zilla Parishad and municipal corporation elections in the State, BJP yesterday announced that the Mahayuti will fight the elections as a united front. The Pimpri-Chinchwad unit of NCP which was gearing up to fight its arch rival BJP on Wednesday said it will go by the decision of the Mahayuti leaders.

”The Mahayuti will fight the forthcoming Zilla Parishad and Municipal Corporation elections across Maharashtra as a united front, with a clear target of securing more than 51 percent votes and registering a decisive victory,” said Maharashtra Revenue Minister and BJP’s State In-charge for Local Body Elections, Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
