Srinagar, Dec 10: The Department of Management Studies (DMS), University of Kashmir (KU), started a three-day workshop on Data Analysis in Business Research and Econometrics at the Main Campus.

The workshop is designed to strengthen researchers’ analytical capabilities and introduce practical tools for handling and interpreting business data.

Speaking at the inaugural session, Vice-Chancellor KU, Prof Nilofer Khan, said that universities must equip young researchers with skills that help them analyse and use data responsibly and meaningfully.

“Sound data practices lead to better research outcomes and informed decision-making. Workshops like this help scholars engage with evidence rather than assumptions,” she said.
