Ontario’s Ministry of Labour is investigating after a London man died following injuries suffered at a workplace in Forest on Tuesday, provincial police say.

The man, 38, had been working on equipment at a workplace on Douglas Line in Forest – a community located northeast of Sarnia – on Tuesday before 4 p.m. when he was critically injured. He died at hospital.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating.

The Sarnia Observer quoted a labour ministry spokesperson as saying: ““It was reported that a worker sustained (a) fatal injury when struck by equipment. Ministry inspectors have been assigned to investigate. As the investigation is ongoing, no further details are available at this time.”
