HAMPDEN, Maine (WABI) - It’s the most magical time of the year, right? Well for many of us, the holiday season can be quite stressful.
Whether it’s planning holiday travel, a family get together, or trying to find the perfect gift for a loved one, it can all be quite taxing.
WABI down with clinical psychologist, Dr. David Prescott, to hear what we can do to take some of the burden off ourselves.
“Be methodical about it. Start at the people whose gifts, if that’s what’s stressing you out, are most important to you,” said clinical psychologist, Dr. David Prescott.
There are plenty of things to look forward to during the holiday season, but for many of us, our stress tends to be driven by grief, family tensions, or finances.
