BEREA — Browns coach Kevin Stefanski announced Dec. 8 that Shedeur Sanders would be the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season. While only four games, it's a decision that will have a long-term tail that extends well past the finale in Cincinnati.
Sanders isn't thinking long-term, though. For him, it's all about the next one, Dec. 14 at the Chicago Bears .
"Yeah, that's a long, deep thought," Sanders said Dec. 10. "That's not in my focus. My focus right now is the team we're playing ahead, the Bears . So anything past that I'm not really focused on, honestly. I'm thankful for it, but I'm not content with my situation with everything. And we're leading this team." Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
That's not just Sanders giving the politically-correct quarterback answe
