For many of us, beekeeping is woven into our lives, and the sweet reward of the season is the honey harvest. That amber jar is more than just a sweet treat; it’s proof of the hard work bees put in all seasons and of the care we have invested in them.
Every experienced beekeeper knows how much weather shapes our success, and in recent years it seems like the unpredictability has only increased. I find myself especially grateful for the breaks that beekeeping offers from everyday pressures. The steady hum of the bees and the quiet moments in the bee yard offer a kind of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere.
