BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - State prosecutors have charged Bradley Jarmall Brown, 35, the owner of KMT Holdings and Development LLC, with a series of financial crimes tied to an $11 million Scotlandville affordable-housing development known as “Housing for Heroes,” The Advocate reported.
A bill of information filed Friday by Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office names Brown, of Port Allen, on counts including felony theft, bank fraud, illegal transfer of monetary funds, money laundering and filing false public records.
On Wednesday, Commissioner Kina Kimble set Brown’s bond at $500,000.
