COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following last week’s Division II football state championship , Avon has five players on the All-Ohio first team in Division II.
Archbishop Hoban junior linebacker Brayton Feister is the state’s co-Defensive Player of the Year.
They highlight the All-Ohio football teams in Division II, announced Wednesday by the Ohio High School Athletic Association. The teams were selected by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.
Avon had three players on offense, including quarterback Blake Elder, receiver Grant Barr and tackle Max Hauck on the first team. Miami (Ohio) recruit Ryan Stolarski and North Carolina-bound Jakob Weatherspoon led the Eagles on defense.
Their selections come with the Division III All-Ohio teams also being announced Wednesday. They follow Division VI and V
