If you saw engagement announcement from Zendaya and Robert Pattinson posted in The Boston Globe Tuesday, just know it wasn’t real.

The announcement was a stunt used to promote the duo’s upcoming film “The Drama,” which will be released on April 3, 2026.

“On Monday, editors on The Boston Globe’s Living/Arts team received an unusual request: Would we mind holding our daily TV Critic’s Corner column so an ad could run in that space in print, right next to the Love Letters ( @loveletters_globe ) romance advice column?,” the news outlet wrote in an Instagram post . “The ad in question turned out to be a mock engagement announcement for the characters Robert Pattinson and Zendaya play in the upcoming A24 movie “The Drama.’”
