Estela Aguilar Chow had to pivot from the Senator Hotel due to plumbing issues at that venue, she said, and will now hold the annual event Saturday at the Paroisse Saint-Joseph in Melrose Heights. Article content Article content

Chow, president of the Filipino Association in Timmins, said she was relieved to find the venue, which has “lots” of parking on three sides of the building.

The evening will feature a buffet of traditional Filipino foods, dance performances, Karaoke, caroling, and a raffle featuring a 55″ smart TV as the main prize.
