Boys basketball

Jonathan Black, Bessemer City: Had a team-high 21 points, Noah Nash added 12, while Coryon Gaines and Jeveon Miller had 10 in a 69-45 win over Highland Tech.

Jaxon Dollar, East Lincoln: Had a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds), while Christian Atkins had 14 points in a 62-52 win over Newton-Conover.
