AMES - Iowa State women's basketball freshman Reese Beaty was enjoying a strong start to her collegiate career, providing big-time minutes off the bench for the Cyclones.

But that strong start has been temporarily halted.

Iowa State announced on Dec. 10 that Beaty will miss two weeks with a lingering foot injury. The guard had already missed her team's Dec. 7 game against Northern Illinois.
