1Bronx, NY – A Bronx man has been indicted on multiple charges including attempted aggravated murder and assault after allegedly stabbing his wife and brutally attacking his 12-year-old stepdaughter inside their Belmont apartment.

Prosecutors say 29-year-old Joshua Burnside turned a domestic dispute into a violent rampage, using knives and a metal tool to inflict life-threatening injuries on the child.

He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Alvin Yearwood and remains held without bail.
