The Psychic/Ghost-type Hoopa is the Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Z-A that drives the Mega Dimension DLC plot forward, found as the companion of the NPC Ansha. However, players can also get this Pokémon for themselves, as a second Hoopa exists for you to capture. Although this Hoopa isn't accessible until the DLC's postgame, it still remains a powerful ally to recruit for your team.

Hoopa is the Pokémon you feed donuts to throughout the DLC to open rifts into the Hyperspace Wild Zones in Legends: Z-A 's DLC. Ansha's Hoopa is happy to get you into the alternate version of Lumiose City, but only if you can craft donuts of equal star value to the rifts you find in the city. Donuts cost Hyperspace Berries to craft, so you'll need to stockpile plenty of ingredients.
