With only a few more episodes to go until the Egghead Arc wraps up, One Piece 's anime is quickly approaching its next big hiatus, much to the disappointment of fans everywhere. Admittedly, this hiatus could finally give fans what they've been wanting for years: better pacing and even better animation.

That said, there's no denying that the anime's absence will be felt by all, especially given that One Piece has been a weekly anime for well over two decades . While the Fishman Island remaster helped, it doesn't seem like One Piece has anything of the sort lined up this time, unless the Wit Studio remake chooses to surprise fans.
