GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Furman men’s soccer departed for Cary, North Carolina, Wednesday for the College Cup, marking the first Final Four appearance in program history.
The Paladins will face Washington Friday at 6 p.m. in front of a sold-out crowd as one of four teams competing for the national championship.
Head coach Doug Allison is experiencing his first Final Four trip in his 31st and final season with the program. Players have embraced the “One Last Ride” theme for their coach’s farewell campaign.
“We have a shirt. One last ride, it means so much to everyone here,” said Freshman defender Luke Munson. “To just play in these final moments for him. It means so much to us.”
