Chris Mason’s first year as director of the Pulaski County Office of Emergency Management has been anything but routine. Since taking the helm nearly a year ago, Mason has steered the county through major flooding, a crippling winter storm, and a devastating EF-4 tornado — all before he fully settled into his new office.
On Tuesday, Mason presented a year-end report to the Pulaski County Fiscal Court, detailing what he called an “extraordinary” stretch of crises and offering a look ahead at the work still to come.
