The City of Great Bend is implementing temporary water conservation measures at the Great Bend Airport Industrial Complex due to a pump failure in the system that serves the Industrial Area. City crews are working diligently to repair the equipment and restore full operating capacity as quickly as possible, it was announced Wednesday evening.

This issue is isolated to the Airport Industrial Complex and does not affect the City of Great Bend’s municipal water supply, public safety, residential service or community water usage. The pump failure occurred on a dedicated system that serves only the Industrial Complex, and all other City water systems are operating normally with no shortages or restrictions.
