MARQUETTE — Submissions are open for the second Mini Pitch Competition, a digital event designed for high school and college students in the Upper Peninsula to showcase their innovative business and product ideas for the Peak26 conference. Conference collaborators include Innovate Marquette, SISU: The Innovation Institute at NMU, and NMU College of Business.
The Mini Pitch provides students with an opportunity to present their ideas as an individual or part of a team — without the pressure of a formal business plan or live presentation. This virtual competition allows students to submit a short video explaining their business concept or product idea for a chance to win $500. There will be a high school winner and a college winner, totaling $1,000 going to local students.
