SUPERIOR, Wis. (Northern News Now) - On their way home from a bar early Sunday morning, Kathryn Mishler and Dylan Wallace, 28, got into an argument.
The two are no longer dating, but at the time, they had been dating for just over two months. Mishler had accompanied Wallace to his work Christmas party, where they had been drinking.
Mishler says they were arguing about Wallace’s driving when he crashed the car and tried to strangle her. She then fled to the nearest open building, a nursing home in Superior.
“I was pounding on the door, asking for help, and he had shown up behind me and strangled me again,” said Mishler.
She was let into the building, the police were called, and Wallace left the scene. Only later did Mishler learn that Wallace then went to retrieve guns. Shortly later, j
