WASHINGTON, D.C. (WCAX) - The Senate is expected to vote tomorrow on the future of health care costs.

Division continues on both sides, just three weeks before insurance costs are set to increase by millions.

Democrats want to extend those expiring Affordable Care Act tax credits by three years.

Meanwhile, republicans want to put money for health care—$1,500 per year—in the pockets of the American people.

But neither bill is expected to get the 60 votes needed to pass the Senate.

“It is absolutely inexcusable for the United States Senate not to act to protect. And that discussion, which I’m all in on to bring down health care costs—they’re unsustainable—we’ll have that. We can’t do it by starting out by just punishing American families,” said Senator Peter Welch.
