The Valley County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that deputies were called to a reported shooting at 8:45 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Halferty and Front Street. Deputies found an adult victim with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said. The injured victim knew the suspect and claims he also pointed a gun at an underage person at the home.
