Christmas dinner can be a stressful time, trying to get everything prepared while spending time with the family, but there are ways to make life easier. In order to help, celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has named one task home cooks can do now to get ahead of the rush.
The 50-year-old says a good gravy can hide a “multitude of cooking sins,” which could come in handy if you find yourself overcooking the roasties or finding the turkey a tad dry. And Jamie says gravy is one of the things that can be made ahead of time so cooks can enjoy themselves on Christmas Day. In fact, the former Naked Chef star says “prep, prep, prep” is his main advice for cooking Christmas dinner. He told Woman magazine that it is “all in the planning” as he looks to get as much done as possible beforehand.
