As a berry that tends to sit on the cheaper side, blueberries are an easy go-to to keep in your fridge to add to your breakfasts and desserts or even as a healthy snack. However, it can be hard to make sure they last for as long as possible, and you get all your money's worth.

Or at least it seemed hard, until Martha Stewart recommended this quick and easy trick for long-lasting berries. While they may be small, the blueberries can carry just as many nasty antioxidants as any other fruit – with all the dirt and build-up from pesticides.
