CLEVELAND — The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force (NOVFTF) captured two suspects wanted in connection to the June fatal shooting of a Maple Heights man outside Angie's Soul Cafe in Cleveland 's Fairfax neighborhood.
According to a release, NOVFTF members arrested Dominick Newby, 20, and Jayshawn Collins, 19, at an address in the 1100 block of East 58th Street early Wednesday morning.
CASE HISTORY
Authorities told 3News officers responded to the Carnegie Avenue restaurant just after 2:30 p.m. on June 17 for a report of a possible robbery. Once at the scene, police discovered that the male victim had been shot, and they immediately began treating him while waiting for an ambulance to arrive.
