A major search has been launched for a man wanted in connection with robbery who may be in Edinburgh. Police are hoping to trace Chinedu Uwaoma after the incident.

The robbery took place on Ash Grove in Hull during the early hours of Tuesday, December 17, 2024. After the report opened, officers followed intensive inquiries and investigations have been ongoing.

CCTV has been obtained alongside witness statements, conducting arrest attempts and engaging with neighbouring movements to help trace his location.

It is believed he may have travelled to the Scottish capital but has since returned back to the Hull area. Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
