From perfect 300 games to matchups between the state’s top teams, the first week of full action on the lanes for the 2025-26 N.J. boys and girls bowling campaign had it all.
Here are the top highlights from both sides of the lanes in our biggest takeaways from week one.
Boys
Perfection on the Lanes
There were four 300 games rolled during the first full week of the 2025-26 season. Two came during the Marisa Tufaro Classic on Dec. 6 at Majestic Lanes in Hopelawn, where both St. Joseph (Met.) senior Kai Strothers and Monroe sophomore Aiden Wysokowski rolled a 300 during one of their three games in the tournament. Strothers went on to score a high series of 773 at the tournament for the Falcons, who placed second in the team competition. Belvidere sophomore Ethan Zmyewski struck perfection
