SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – The National Weather Service (NWS) has announced that a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of south-central, southeast, southwest, and central Indiana until Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m.
Snow is expected to develop late Thursday afternoon with total accumulations of 2 to 5 inches by early Friday morning. Higher amounts are possible in some areas.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes.
Then, arctic air moves in for the weekend with daily highs in the teens and 20s and single-digit lows. Wind chills could be sub-zero.
