WAUSAU − TDS Telecommunications held its fourth annual Week of Giving Dec. 1-5, a campaign that aims to bolster philanthropic efforts in the communities it serves.

During the event, the company and its employees ramp up their usual charitable activities, according to a community announcement. The program, part of the company’s TDS Cares initiative, involved both volunteer work and monetary donations.

Throughout the week, TDS associates use their company-provided paid volunteer time to assist nonprofit organizations. The company also donated more than $45,000 in monetary and in-kind contributions to various communities.
