Division II basketball is a little different from Division I, but don’t be mistaken about the talent – because there is plenty of it.

Team basketball is important at every level, but with less depth at the D-II level, individual talent can thrive and turn teams into contenders in a blink of an eye. We saw it two years ago when Lauren Bousquet led Moses Brown to a state championship.

While there might not be a Bousquet in D-II this year, there are plenty of talented stars – including two returning Second Team All-State selections. Division II is also filled with some promising young talent and this year could be the season where they really make a name for themselves.
