A Russian traveller is winning hearts online after posting a thoughtful reminder about keeping the Himalayas clean when people visit the mighty mountains, as she did during her trek to Chandrashila in Uttarakhand.
In an Instagram video , Tanya, whose full name is Tatyana, appears holding a bag filled with trash she picked up along the route. Introducing herself, she says her name is Tatyana, “in short, it is Tanya”.
“I went for this trekking today from the morning to Chandrashila. It is an amazing place. I love it. I love nature. I love this country. I love to travel here. But one thing which makes me sad is the garbage. And always when I am travelling, I prefer to make some small efforts, which I can do,” she says.
