NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is looking for the driver involved in a deadly crash that killed a bicyclist near the Davidson County line early Thursday morning.
Fatal crash detectives were called to the intersection of Nolensville Pike and Burkitt Road for reports of a deadly crash in the early morning hours on Thursday.
The investigation shows that a man and a woman were driving a blue Honda sedan on Nolensville Pike when they struck a person on a bicycle.
MNPD reported that the bicyclist was found at the scene and transported to the hospital, where the person was declared deceased.
The driver attempted to drive away but crashed into a culvert while trying to avoid another vehicle, according to MNPD.
The male driver then exited the sedan and ran away
